Capabilities to manufacture the pen include:

  • High-precision, multi-cavity injection moulding
  • Very tight tolerance, in-line printing of the dose level indication
  • Complex, multi-component assembly including palletised product handling, in-line visual inspection and force testing
  • High product configuration mix on a single line with short runs and rapid product changes
  • Complex product verification systems and procedures, on and off-line to cope with the product mix
  • Electronic design history and batch release system
BD Physioject™ Disposable Autoinjector

Physioject is a single-use, fixed-does autoinjector developed for the self-administration of injectable biologics. The product has been in global use for a number of years for applications in immunology, endocrinology and oncology.  It is also being adopted for GLP-1 diabetes and obesity fields. It comes in multiple configurations including many different colour keyed variants.

Capabilities to manufacture the pen include:

  • High-precision, multi-cavity injection moulding
  • Demanding clarity criteria for transparent components
